Senior Telecoms Red Team Consultant | Freelance | Europe

We are looking for a Senior Telecoms Red Team Consultant for a freelance engagement covering seven telecoms sites across Europe.

The consultant will conduct Red Team and adversary simulation activities across RAN/radio site infrastructure, with a focus on identifying attack paths, lateral movement and the effectiveness of the customer’s security monitoring and response capabilities.

Key requirements:

Strong hands-on Red Team and infrastructure penetration testing experience

Proven experience within telecommunications/carrier environments

Strong knowledge of RAN and 4G/5G infrastructure

Experience with telecom sites, transmission, backhaul and management networks

Experience with adversary simulation, lateral movement and SOC/Blue Team testing

Experience with vendors such as Juniper, Fortinet, Huawei, Ericsson, Nokia and/or Cisco

Strong technical reporting and documentation skills

Fluent English and willingness to travel across Europe

Contract details:

Freelance contract

7 European locations: Germany, Portugal, Czech Republic, Romania, Ireland, Albania and Greece

Approximately 1 week per site

Start between October and December 2026

Expected completion around December 2026 / January 2027

€700–€800 per day

Travel and accommodation covered separately

EU-based candidates 

Background screening and NDA required

No security clearance required
